With the Picture Party App, you can create one or more “Parties” to share photos and video clips you select, and invite others to join those Parties. Contributions, including photos, videos, comments and reactions, that are uploaded to a Party can be viewed by the Members of that Party, and by us only as described in this Policy (its Admin and any other Members invited by the Admin, a Moderator, or other Members). Below we share more detail about our privacy practices. We also want to tell you right up front:

Media you add to a Party will be visible to the Members of that Party, and to us only as described in this Policy. Members of a Party are the people invited to it, and anyone they in turn invite.

You always control what Contributions you upload or delete.

You can always update or remove personal information we have about you.

We will never sell your personal information to a third party.

We want you to feel comfortable and confident that Picture Party shares your photos and identity as you choose, with the people you choose, except where this Policy says otherwise. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Please read on for more specifics about our privacy practices. If you still have questions or concerns, email us anytime at support@myseum.com and we’ll be happy to help.

About this Policy

This Privacy Policy is updated and effective as of August 20, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, share, and maintain information on our systems about your use of our websites, located at Myseum.com and pictureparty.com (together, the “Website”), and our native mobile Android and iOS applications (collectively, the “App”). The Website and App are operated by Myseum.AI, Inc. (“Myseum.AI”, “we”, “us”, and/or “our” as used in this Policy). Our references to “you” or something of “yours” in this Policy refer to users of the Website and App.

Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the same meaning as set forth in our Terms of Use, including Users, Party, Member, Admin, Moderator, Media, Content, Comments, Reactions, Contributions, Display Name, In-App Purchases, Permissible Minor User and SSO. For convenience:

An “Admin” is the User who created a Party. A “Moderator” is a Member whom the Admin has given moderation rights in that Party. Any Member of a Party may invite other Users to it. Admins and Moderators can additionally (i) view, add, and delete Contributions from themselves or other Members of that Party, and (ii) remove Members. Only the Admin can delete the Party itself or add or remove Moderators.

We aim to operate the most private photo sharing app around. The App does not display advertising and we do not use advertising identifiers. The App offers optional one-time In-App Purchases, currently additional storage and additional Moderator seats for a Party; these are processed by Apple or Google, and we receive a purchase receipt rather than your payment details.

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or our information collection and use practices, please contact us at support@myseum.com.

How you permit us to collect data from you

When you visit our Website

We do not collect personal information from or about our website visitors. We do not use tracking technologies of any kind on the Website — not cookies, web beacons, clear gifs, etc. Browse freely!

Installing the App and logging in

When you install the App, you’ll be prompted to enter your mobile phone number and to verify it by entering a code we send to that number by text message. You’ll then either (1) set a password (“Standard Sign-on”) or (2) sign on using your Google or Apple credentials (“SSO”). We collect and use your phone number in both cases in order to create and secure your account; we do not ask you for an email address in order to register. In both cases we also ask you for your first and last name, and for your general location, which you pick from a list of places we look up through Google Maps Platform as you type. You may optionally give us a middle name, a suffix, a company name, your gender, and your year of birth. You can — but don’t have to — add a profile photo and choose a Display Name in our Settings menu.

We also record technical information needed to run your account: an identifier for the device you install the App on, a push notification token so we can send you notifications, and, if you enable Face ID, Touch ID or a passkey, the credential your device creates for signing in. If you make an In-App Purchase, Apple or Google send us a receipt confirming it; we never receive your card details.

If you choose to look for people you know, the App will ask permission to read your contacts. If you grant it, the phone numbers in your address book are sent to us so we can tell you which of them already use Picture Party. We do not store your contacts — the numbers are used for that comparison and then discarded.

If you use SSO to create and/or log into your account, we redirect you to the login page of the SSO provider (for example, Google) to enter your credentials, and we never see those credentials. If you use Google SSO, we receive your email address. If you use Sign in with Apple, you choose whether to share your email with us, and Apple provides your name the first time you authorize the App; we store that name on your device so we can fill it in for you if you return. We do not import a profile photo from either provider.

Whether you sign on with SSO or Standard Sign-on, you can update your Display Name, profile photo, and password in the App’s “Settings” menu anytime. Access the Settings menu by tapping your profile icon in the top right corner of the App’s home screen. We refer to any information in your profile in this policy as “Profile Information,” but we only have Profile Information you give us (or that your SSO provider gives to us as a part of the ordinary operation of their technology).

Creating and sharing a Party

When you create a new “Party” to share photos with select friends, you can choose who to invite to that Party. Once you invite Members to a Party, they have the ability to invite others. On the Home screen, you can see both the number of Members in the Party you have joined/created, as well as the number of photos uploaded by all of its Members. Any Member of a Party can add comments and reactions to a particular photo. As the Admin or a Moderator of a Party, you will be able to remove Members by tapping their profile photo icon at the top of the Party and then selecting “remove.” If you do this, that Member’s Contributions will be automatically removed from the Party, and that former Member can no longer see anyone’s Contributions in the Party.

You can invite others to join a Party, or accept an invitation to join a Party, by sending (to invite) or tapping (to accept an invite) the unique join link or QR code.

Anyone you invite to a Party will need to create an account of their own to use the App. Please be sure to share these links and/or QR Codes only with those you’d like to join your Party. You should only invite members you trust into your Party(s), as they will be able to see and export your Contributions to that Party. Please join only Parties where you trust the Admin. Note that we reserve the right to remove harmful photos in response to certain serious concerns about harm to our users or third parties, as further described below and in our Terms of Use.

All Members of a Party will be able to see all of the Contributions in that Party, upload more Contributions (Media and Comments) to the Party, and save Media from the Party. If you added Contributions to the Party, you can delete them from the App by tapping the “Delete” option when viewing the selected Media or Comment.

Once you confirm that you want to delete, we’ll remove that Media from the Party immediately, so it is no longer visible to other Members, and we then delete the underlying file from our storage during routine maintenance.

Please only share Media when you are comfortable with each Party Member (and anyone they share the photo with) having irrevocable access to that Media.

How we use your information

We use your Profile Information for display in the App. We use your password to help you log into the app on one or more devices if you use Standard Sign-on; for SSO, we never collect, use, or store a password. We use your phone number to identify and administer your account access, to verify you when you sign in, and to permit account recovery.

We use the Contributions you upload to populate Parties, display Contributions to other Members of the Party, allow Members to comment on and react to Contributions, and allow Members to download Media. When any Member adds a Contribution to a Party, we also store that Contribution on our servers. Photos and videos you capture inside the App retain their metadata, and if you have granted location access we record the device’s location at the time of capture into that metadata. That metadata travels with the Media, so anyone who can view or download the Media in a Party can read it. You can prevent this by denying or turning off location access for the App in your device settings.

We use third party analytics and crash reporting to understand how the App is used, to fix bugs, and to conduct standard maintenance. We currently use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config) and AppsFlyer for install attribution. AppsFlyer is provided with your account identifier so that we can attribute installs to their source; the other analytics we collect are session and usage data about how parts of the App are used.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of third parties to operate the Services. They act on our instructions and may only use your information to provide their service to us:

Provider What they do for us
Amazon Web Services Hosting, database storage, media storage and processing, and content delivery.
Twilio Sending the verification code and any other text messages to your phone number.
Google Firebase Analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and push notification delivery.
Google Maps Platform Looking up the place you select when you set your location.
Google and Apple Sign-in, if you choose to use SSO; Apple and Google also process In-App Purchases and deliver push notifications.
AppsFlyer Measuring which channel an App install came from.

How we share your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this Policy, including with the service providers listed above and in the following ways:

  • With your express consent.
  • Your Display Name and profile photo, as well as Media you uploaded to a Party, with those you invite (or they invite) into that Party.
  • With any parent or subsidiaries of ours, or other companies or entities which control, are controlled by or under common control with us. This may include sharing with a potential successor-in-interest in a business transaction. For such transactions, we will generally require the potential successor-in-interest to execute a confidentiality agreement before sharing any information with them. We will require such parties to honor this Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time, with respect to such shared information. If material changes to our privacy practices will occur as a result of a business transition, we will make a reasonable attempt to notify you in the App of the changes before they occur.
  • With the third-party vendors listed under “Service Providers We Use” above, who provide the hosting, storage, messaging, analytics, crash reporting, attribution and mapping that allow the App to operate. We select vendors based on privacy, security, and confidentiality standards, and only share personally-identifiable information with vendors who provide contractual assurances that it will stay private and secure.
  • Without identifying you, we may generate reports and/or analyses of the aggregate usage of our Services, and use this for our business operations. These reports do not identify you and we do not treat them as personal information.
  • As we deem necessary, in our sole discretion to:
    • Comply with applicable law
    • Comply with a valid governmental and/or law enforcement request
    • Comply with a court or other governmental body’s order
    • Protect the privacy, security, safety, or likeness rights of any user or a third party subject of a photo uploaded to a Party.
    • Evaluate and comply with legitimate copyright takedown requests
    • Identify and remove illegal, hateful, and/or abusive images and/or comments from our systems
    • To otherwise enforce our rights and/or to protect the safety and security of our Website, App or other users.

Where your information is stored

We are based in the United States and our systems are operated primarily in the United States. Wherever you use the Services from, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, for those transfers. By using the Services you understand that your information will be handled as described in this Policy.

How long we keep your information

We keep your Profile Information and your Contributions for as long as your account exists. If you delete a Contribution, we remove it from our systems. If you delete your account, we delete your Profile Information and your Contributions, and remove you from the Parties you joined, as described below. Copies may persist for a short period in routine encrypted backups before those backups are cycled out, and we retain the limited records we are required to keep by law, or that we need to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms. Phone numbers uploaded from your address book to search for people you know are not retained at all; they are compared and then discarded.

How we secure your information

Like most applications today, we use cloud server infrastructure to run our App and Website. We license server spaces that encrypt data sent to the App and displayed by the App, both while “at rest” in our database and “in transit” between the App and those databases. Access to the databases we created to operate the App is restricted to a small number of authorised personnel, through accounts we approve and provision individually. Our cloud infrastructure vendor stores this data on our behalf under contractual restrictions on its use.

When we generate QR codes or links to add members to a Party, we share these only with the user and device that requested them. You choose who to share it with from there.

Note that SSO information is controlled and accessed by the relevant SSO provider, such as Google or Apple. Please refer to the privacy policies of these platforms for more information about how they operate their SSO.

While we take reasonable precautions against possible security breaches of the Website, the App and our databases and records, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. We urge you to use caution when choosing what information to share with us, just in case.

Security incidents

If we become aware of a breach of security that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator that has to be told, without undue delay and within the time limits that apply to us by law.

Do Not Track

Our Website does not recognize Do Not Track signals. Nonetheless, we do not track Website visitors on any identifiable basis whatsoever.

California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the rights set out below. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by that law. We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the Services. Separately, under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents may contact us to prevent disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes; Picture Party does not share your information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.

We still offer all of our users certain options to exercise control over their information, regardless of their residency:

Right What it means
Right to Know You have the right to request that we disclose to you the personal information about you we collect, use, or disclose, and information about our data handling practices with respect to your information.
Right to Request Deletion You have the right to request that we delete your personal information that we have collected from you.
Right to Correct You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information You have the right to direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services.
Right to Non-Discrimination We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please email us at support@myseum.com and we’ll be happy to assist you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We process your personal data on the following bases: to perform our contract with you, which is what allows us to operate your account and show your Contributions to the people you share them with; for our legitimate interests in keeping the Services secure, preventing abuse, and understanding how the App is used; with your consent, where you have given it — for example when you allow access to your contacts, your photo library, or your location; and to comply with our legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time by turning off the relevant permission in your device settings. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@myseum.com.

Children and minors

Picture Party is not intended for, and may not be used by, children younger than 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from or about persons under 13. A person aged 13 to 17 may use the Services only where their parent or legal guardian has created the account on their behalf and has consented, as described in our Terms of Use; we treat the guardian as responsible for that account. We do not profile Users of any age, and the App shows no advertising to anyone. In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 13, we will use our best efforts to erase such information from our records. Our Terms of Use prohibit Users from uploading content containing personal or likeness information about a minor unless they are that minor’s legal guardian and can legally consent in that capacity to the use of all App functionality with respect to that content.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child under 13, or if you find someone is using the app to upload photos of a child for whom they are not a guardian and do not have the appropriate legal guardian’s consent, please contact us at support@myseum.com with a description of the potential issue.

How to access, update, and/or delete information we have about you

You can confirm what items of personal information we have about you, update this information, or delete that information (including by deleting your entire account), by emailing us at support@myseum.com.

Deleting your account in the App

You can also delete your account from within the App, at Settings → Your Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before the deletion is carried out. Deleting your account this way takes effect immediately.

If you email us, we will comply with your requests to update or remove your personal information within a reasonable time period unless we are prohibited by law from doing so. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period by a further 45 days where permitted, in which case we will tell you depending on the nature of the request and the operations of our business.

If you delete your account, we will remove you from the Parties you created and the Parties you have joined. All your Contributions to Parties will be deleted. If you are the Admin of any Party, and (1) if the Party has a Moderator, they will be promoted to Admin to manage the Party’s continuing use, or (2) if the Party has no other Moderators but has other Members, another Member will be promoted to Admin of the Party, or (3) if the Party has no other Members, the Party will be closed and removed during routine maintenance. Please contact support@myseum.com with any questions about this.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you in the App or by another reasonable means before the change takes effect, and we will update the effective date at the top of this Policy. The version of this Policy in the App is always the current one.
